Specialises in children from the age of 4 and children with disability, group theory, examination students to 8th grade and ATAR music and adults.  Also offers Group/Buddy lessons

I began teaching when I was 11 years old under the tutelage of my mother, who was a private piano teacher.  I taught off and on privately and for music schools during my university study period.  I have been accompanist for repertory, instrumentalists, school orchestras, played at school assemblies and chapel services, community choirs and school choirs.  I have taught in classrooms as music specialist, concurrently tutoring privately and at schools.  All of my students in my private studio are referrals from parents and other musicians in my local area.  I am also currently a peripatetic piano teacher in a local school.  

My goal as a teacher is to inspire a love of music in my students, and facilitate their goals and dreams. Each student has diffferent needs and I carefully construct individualised learning programs to suit.  I am continually searching for new ideas, updating my skills and endeavouring to be the best teacher possible.  I attend regularly conferences and workshops, including the most recent APPC (in Brisbane), the WAPPC, many workshops held at Zenith Music (if in the school holidays) and the Piano Pivot Conference in January 2020.
