Lorenzo Di Paola is a qualified and experience piano and harpischord teacher, offering lessons for all ages and levels from his music studio in Bedford. He is a Teaching member of the West Australian Music Teachers’ Association.
My name is Lorenzo and I have been teaching for more than 25 years. I received my musical training from some of the finest musicians in Australia and Germany, completing both a Bachelor (UWA) and Masters in music performance (Freiburg, Germany) as well as an Associate Diploma of music with the AMEB. I also have a Bachelor of Arts in European Languages. I performed and taught in Europe for eleven years and have now returned to Perth where I teach in my home studio in Bedford.
I always endeavour to cater to my students’ needs and ability in order to best pass on my expertise and experience so that they are capable of achieving their goals on their musical journey. My main mission has always been to inspire and incite students to cultivate a love and appreciation for music, while adopting a fun, engaging and friendly approach to instrumental pedagogy.
I generally encourage students to have defined objectives, whether that be AMEB exam preparation or participation in informal concerts and eisteddfods.
My fees are $90/hour. Lesson length will of course depend on the student’s age and level, but is generally between 30 minutes and an hour.
I have a current Working with Children Check.
