Qualifications:
* Khar'kov Institute of Performing Arts Piano Teacher and Accompanist Degree, Major in Piano Performance (1984 – 1989 )
* Taganrog State Music College - Teacher of School of Music and Accompanist Degree , specialising in Piano Performance (1979 – 1983 )
Inna Fursa received her professional training at the Khar'kov State Conservatorium (former USSR). In 1993, after arrival in Australia, Inna won Associate Artist Award of the Accompanists’ Guild of South Australia. For many years Inna has studied and continues to be mentored by Eleonora Sivan.
Based in Perth since 2004 Inna teaches at a number of prestigious private schools. She performs, adjudicates and presents masterclasses.
Inna is a regular presenter at national Piano Pedagogy Conferences, and workshops for WAMTA where she is a council member.
In November 2010 Inna performed in the premiere of Larry Sitsky’s new work ‘The Golden Dawn’. In August 2014 Inna performed as a guest artist at the Golden Key of Vienna Music Festival.
Inna’s presentations and educational interests are focussed on art of piano pedagogy and methodology of piano teaching. Inna’s passion for music and teaching has produced students who have been awarded scholarships to continue their studies at university level nationally and internationally.
Inna has students who have become successful piano teachers and composers in their own right, as well as students who, while they have chosen different professions, continue enjoying music for life.
