Hannah is a passionate performer and teacher who seeks to give her best to her students by ensuring they have a technically healthy and musically fulfilling musical journey.
She has taught absolute beginners up to tertiary level (WAAPA) with ages ranging from 4 to 40+.
Believing that learning should never stop, Hannah is committed to constant professional development in order to better her skills as a pianist and teacher, and holds to the saying: “if you can’t do it yourself, you can’t teach it”.
Hannah specializes in the classical repertoire (as opposed to jazz and pop) and has special interest in the performance practices and styles of the 18th and early-20th Century.
Hannah is an alumnus of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts where she studied with Anna Sleptsova and graduated with First Class Honours (Bachelor of Music). During her time there, she was the recipient of the Helen Court/Friends of the Academy Award for the Most Outstanding Graduating Student, as well as the recipient of the prestigious Barbara MacLeod Scholarship.
As part of her professional development, Hannah undertakes periodical study with the celebrated composer, pianist, and pedagogue Emeritus Professor Larry Sitsky AO.
